SBS is more then book talks and reviews...it's about creating an atmosphere about sisterhood.

Sisterhood is so many things at once...it's one of the most heartfelt and beautiful things in the world.

It's being there to encourage one another through good times and when we're having a bad day.

Sisterhood is a pat on the back, a friendly hug, a cheerful hello.

It's a lasting friendship.

A SBS sister is knowing that there will always be someone around whom you can talk to or share your stories with, no matter what.

Sisterhood is about sharing dreams and achieving goals together, In addition, its aspiring to reach great heights and exceed expectation together.

Sisterhood is learning about people. It's about learning about life. It's about learning to give back to our communities selflessly.

Sisterhood is so many things at once. Simply said, it's the ultimate experience of a lifetime-an experience unlike any other.

So what is a Sorority Book Sister?

How is a Sorority Book Sister different from a collegian sorority or a book club?

Webster dictionary defines a sorority as "a society for females students in a university or college, typically for social purposes."

A book club is "a group of people who meet to talk about the books that they are reading."

However, a SBS sister is an individual woman who enjoys reading books while also attending book related event (i.e. signing) and meeting fellow readers to create everlasting friendship.

Sorority Book Sisters Begins!

SBS is more than an ordinary book blog. It's about a journey of one person who along the way met her sisters. You won't find here any Greek letters, insignia, crest, chants, or member requirements.

Instead this sorority is formed by a sisterhood whose common goal is to inspire each other’s and create lifetime friendship with readers like us. This sisterhood is based on something else that unites every woman I have met...Our Love for Books and the Authors who write them.

I will blog about upcoming author signing events, friendship created through our common core (BOOKS!!), reviews books, and share my knowledge anything book world related.

Together, we can create a stronger community of greater fan base to our authors while helping those who recently discovered the new world of book lovers too.

Thus, creating ties that last a lifetime.
