There's a thin line between love and hate . . . and it cuts right through the middle of their office.

Bad boys? They run right over good girls like Georgina Keller.

But after a confidence-shattering breakup, she's determined not to let anyone at her new workplace push her around―least of all the brooding creative director, a "bad boy of publishing" who's made it clear she's enemy #1.

Sebastian Quinn's taste for fast cars, late nights, and beautiful women may have gotten him to the top of a leading New York magazine, but the reputation that made him is suddenly threatening to end his career.

Georgina can help Modern Man shed its bad reputation, but in order to do that, she'll have to start at the top―and no amount of rakish charm or inconvenient attraction will distract her.

Because if Sebastian gets her right where he wants her, it means she's going down.

Book Review: Jessica Hawkins "Right Where I Want You"

Right Where I Want You
by author Jessica Hawkins

Release Date: December 28, 2018

Right Where I Want You by Jessica Hawkins was EVERYTHING I thought it would be, and yet, it was so much more!

Unlike her previous novels, Jessica Hawkins doesn't hit readers with the heavy angst, she instead takes a step back from the angst factor. However, Jessica still brings the passion, emotions, the butterfly-inducing romance.

I thought I was over office romances. But then Jessica Hawkins writes an office romance. And I had to read it!

Most noticeable Jessica Hawkins take on the office romance and how she creates such a read. One with all the feels. One with interesting and relatable characters that have their own flaws and own them. One where the thin line between love and hate combs through a realistic pace.

And all my thoughts about not wanting any more offices romances has dissolved. Jessica Hawkins truly has a gift for building characters that readers can feel connected to. Her characters have such dimension and complexity and they have no problems craving out a piece of my heart at the end of their stories.

This is one of my favorite enemies-to-lovers romances of the yea and Sebastian and Georgina absolutely stole my heart with their banter, wit, and push/pull dynamic. It's smart. It's sassy. It's everything you could ever want in a MUST READ OFFICE ROMANCE!!

Adult Contemporary Romance, Coming of Age Trilogy

Sixteen years is a long time. In a marriage, it's a milestone. On the gridiron, it's a miracle.
Reed Johnson wants more time for everything, but time is funny that way.

It can be cruel.

With a body that can't quite take the hits it used to and a heart tired of being torn in two
different directions, Reed is faced with a reality he's not quite ready for―life without the
game. He became a man under Friday night game lights and in college stadium tunnels,
and without the grit and the glory that's earned ten yards at a time, he's afraid of what
kind of man he'll be.

But there's more than a game at stake now.

Reed's wife, Nola, is afraid too. She's seen what can happen when the love of her life
pushes himself too hard, and she can't escape the nightmares she relieves after almost
losing her entire world to on single play on the field.

There is no compromise when it comes to football. Same goes for the heart. You're either
all in, or you get crushed. For Reed and Nolan, the clock is ticking down. Time ... it does
that. One way or another, they're going to have to make a choice.

This is their hail Mary.

This is win or lose.

(The Hail Mary is book 3 in The Waiting Series, which follows high school sweethearts
Reed Johnson and Nola Lennox through football, life, love and everything messy that
goes along with it. The series begins with Waiting on the Sidelines and Going Long.)

Book Review: Jenika Snow "Give It Up"

Give It Up by Jenika Snow

The reading was short and to the point. There really was not any suspense. Readers are very kin into how the story is going to end. If you are looking for a short read this would be it. But mostly, readers are able to get the full story off the blurb.

The only interesting part of the book was the surprise at the end. But it does not relate to our main characters Loch and Nina. I would read on just to see where these secondary characters storyline take us.

Over all, I would give this reading šŸ’ŽšŸ’Ž out of five.

A broken past doesn't stop him from wanting a future with her.

Loch

I'd never wanted anything for myself until Nina stepped into my life. Two lives that came from ruined childhoods, growing up together, relying on each other . . . protecting her at all costs.

That was my life and I was content.

Until I wasn't because I wanted her as mine.

We were connected in all senses of the world. But I wasn't a good man. I was a member of the Devil's Boys MC, brothers in arms who would do anything to get by in life.

And Nina was the center of it all, an integral part of all of our lives.

But  it was that thread that drew us together that kept me away.

I was afraid of losing the one thing  that mattered most to me, for crossing an invisible line from being friends to lovers.

But without risk there wasn't rewards, and Nina would be the greatest reward I'd ever gotten.
