SBS Book Review of Liam by LeAnn Ashers

LeAnn Ashers has done it again!!

This story is a fresh breath of air during a cool summer eve. I know I was waiting anxiously for his storyline to be made a reality.

Paisley and Liam knew from the moment their path cross that they loved each other. When Paisley was 16 year old and Liam was 17, he rescued her from a horrible fate. Ten years of waiting, longing, waiting faithfully without hesitation from both parts to solidify their relationship among the MC peeps. Even though everyone in their MC world always knew that Paisley was Liam's to claim.

These two are the epitome and definition of soulmates. Both waited for each other for ten years to make their relationship a reality. And one amazing guy to claim what's his all along.

Paisley is such an amazing character.When we are first introduced to her, she reflects a different persona. But I love the characteristic that we are later introduced to. She has a caring demeanor, who enjoys helping other. Even do, she is sweet and innocent, she hides her inner warrior. I love how the author was able to unify these two strong sided characteristics into creating a character with so much to offer. Paisley is a different kind of leading lady. (In an extremely good way!)

Liam is the A-typical MC biker. A bad childhood, unconventional parents, he is as tough as nail and twisted too. However, he too is patient, supportive, completely devoted to his girl happiness and safety.

There is action, drama, a few surprises, and danger lurking in every corner. And a twist no one saw coming. Liam is a must read for the summer!!

Road Trip Book Review

Katy Cornish a twin sister. A young teacher who loves her job and good at it. However, her personal life is non-existence. Always in competition against her twin sister, Victoria. In Katy's mind, her sister Victoria appears to have it all especially after Katy walks in on Victoria with her fiance, Richard, in bed.

As a way to save face, Katy employs the help from a fellow teacher, Felix Montague to be her insert boyfriend. (Side note: Every time I read his last name, I thought of Romeo & Juliet. LOL.) Felix will take the opportunity and run with it to ensure he has fun with Ms. Prim & Proper Katy. If Katy agrees to participate in some pranks herself alongside him.

As a repercussion to their action both Katy and Felix are let go from their job. Seeing their bleak employment opportunity in their home town. Katy and Felix set out to travel to interviews together which off sets a series of events.

Readers will enjoy and have a hilarious journey through this story line. Felix is so self-assured and outgoing. He knows who he is and is not afraid to show it off. Katy is the opposite. She is closed off and frighten about the possibilities life has to offer. However, I loved how the authors were able to captive each of the characters true colors. Felix weakness and Katy strength.

Road Trip is a fun summer read with plenty to laugh about. The collaboration between these authors was electrifying. Delivering us one of the most hilarious story line ever.

Even Money Book Review

I am all in...for author Alessandra Torre.

I loved this book! The author did an amazing job creating this story line. Torre has a canning ability to tell a story with such conviction. Even Money has it all...romance, danger, intrigue, mystery, and much more.

Bell Hartley works at The House Casino serving drinks. Dario Capece is a wealthy, married, casino owner. His goal is to acquire The House Casino. However, he ends up running to our protagonist Bell.

Instantly, both sense a connection with each other. His need over ruled any wants. However, not everything comes as easy. There is so much at stake. Will Dario bet everything he owns for a chance to be with Bell?

I thoroughly enjoyed the sassy heroine and Dario was a welcome surprise of a bad guy hero. I liked how the book ended, it sets up the second book quite nicely. If you like your heroines feisty and your heroes strong and caring, you will love this book!!!
