Sage's Surrender by Joy Blood Review

I was not ready to read the story of Sage and Brook. It was steaming HOT!!!

The story thoroughly kept me engaged and wanting more. A definite page turner!! Sage's Surrender can truly be read as a standalone book without reading the prior three books. But why would not you after reading Sage's Surrender.

The chemistry of the two protagonists was off the chart, from the very first words exchanged. Readers can feel the heat and love of Sage and Brook. I was a bit put off at first since the blurb stated an gap. But author Joy Blood was able to solidify the connection and the relationship.

I am looking forward to reading more stories from author Joy Blood.

I am all in...for author Alessandra Torre.

I loved this book! The author did an amazing job creating this story line. Torre has a canning ability to tell a story with such conviction. Even Money has it all...romance, danger, intrigue, mystery, and much more.

Bell Hartley works at The House Casino serving drinks. Dario Capece is a wealthy, married, casino owner. His goal is to acquire The House Casino. However, he ends up running to our protagonist Bell.

Instantly, both sense a connection with each other. His need over ruled any wants. However, not everything comes as easy. There is so much at stake. Will Dario bet everything he owns for a chance to be with Bell?

I thoroughly enjoyed the sassy heroine and Dario was a welcome surprise of a bad guy hero. I liked how the book ended, it sets up the second book quite nicely. If you like your heroines feisty and your heroes strong and caring, you will love this book!!!
