My Lucky Catch by CM Doporto

Let me start off by saying that I am definitely in The Raven's Trap. Therefore, when I heard that CM Doporto was writing a book about Luke and Delaney I was excited.

If you're familiar with CM Doporto's writing style, you know to expect sweet moments that will clutch at your heart! <3 <3 <3

CM Doporto really surprised me with this one. The twist and turns had me in a constant loop. But will keep you cheering on Team Luke and Delaney.

If you've been following the series, you've already met both Luke and Delaney. As we know Luke and Laney met each other way before she was Lexi's roommate. This story begins with how Laney and Luke meet for the first time!

Even knowing how their relationship will turn out, I could not stop myself from smiling at their interactions and insistence that it was a one-time deal. From the first meeting, when they both agreed to a one night stand, it was obvious that theirs would be a special kind of relationship.

However, with their every meeting  and every interaction it becomes obvious that these two characters need each other. The harder they fight it, the more they need the support of the other.

Just when I think I've got the characters figured out and I know how things will be turning out, CM Doporto lets us have it! Tossing in a curve ball that has  us catching our breaths and reaching for the tissues.

My Lucky Catch can be read as a standalone. I would highly recommend reading the previous books in the series since there are very intertwined with each other.

A Differene Christmas by CM Doporto Review

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

**This novella takes place before the epilogue in The Winning Side and A Different Side. Standalone, but it is recommended you read the series.**

A Difference Christmas follows the life of Raven and Lexi from the University Park series. From the first book, I fell in love with Lexi and Raven’s story. I was truly happy that CM Doporto wrote this novella. I wanted to know how Lexi and Raven made it down the aisle.

We get to read about their struggles during this period of their life. To read about Lexi's doubts, but also her love for Raven. Yet at the same time, we get to see the “new” Raven. The progress and goals he has been able to reach.

As you read along this book, you too, will fall in love with them all over again. I loved CM Doporto last scene in the novella, it made me tear up and join in the joy of their happily ever after story.

We do however, get to see Lexi and Raven again in Luke’s book!!!

I LOVED THIS STORY!!!

A Different Side by CM Doporto Review

WOW. CM Doporto (Goodreads) completely outdid herself on this one. At first, I was hesitant to read the book since I feared that the author would not be able to capture Raven full character. But just when I didn't think it was possible, CM Doporto proved me wrong!

This book enable me to fall in love once more with Raven and Lexi's story. Like I said I was a bit hesitant to read Raven's point of view but I can tell you that I am happy I did. It provided some closure and perspective explaining what was happening inside Raven's world. It also provided a deeper look at Raven's character. If you thought you knew Raven before than you're in for a treat!


You can read this as a standalone or with the University Park series. Mind you, the University Park series is told by Lexi's point of view. I however, will recommend you read all 4 books to really get a feel of the characters.
