Blurb:

She was the one who got away. . .

Even now, five years later,

as a member of Cataclysm,

the rising star of the alt-rock world,

I still think about her.

So when she gets pulled up on stage at a concert,

I know I can't let her get away.

But she drops a bomb that turns my life upside down―

I'm a dad.

I have a four year old daughter.

Now I'm forced to face the demons of my past

and come back home.

Because I'm determined to get to know my daughter,

whether her mother likes it or not.

But the more time we spend together,

the more those old feelings push aside my anger.

Does she still feel the same way?

Or is the time and distance between us too much to overcome?

If you love second chances, cute kids, and heartfelt romance that makes you swoon, grab your copy of Everything I Want today!

Get it here for only 99 cents (or FREE in KU)

I don't know about you, but I've been in a reading funk for quite a while. Maybe this will help you break out of yours (if you're in one) or just give you something else to distract you from all the crazy going on this year.

Recapitulation by Jerica MacMillan Review

Recapitulation is the final chapter in the Songs and Sonatas series. I highly recommend readers to read Double Exposition (book 1) & Development (book 2) before diving into Recapitulation. Recapitulation starts right where Development leaves off.

I have always been a fan of Jerica MacMillan however; Recapitulation was a tough read for myself. I could not swallow the first few chapters of the book. I found myself hating on Gabby’s persona and her decisions making. You can say I became so irritated that I did not see the light out of this book. Nevertheless, boy am I GLAD I ended up sticking through it!

In this final chapter, Gabby and Jonathan once again presents the love that they have for music and for each other. Music is once again a captivating character in the story line. Readers will receive a surprising twist to the story. It definitely put a huge smile on my face! Perfection at is finest. I loved watching Gabby and Jonathan’s relationship mature, as they as well had to mature for their own need and success.

This series is definitely Jerica MacMillan best work yet.

Double Exposition Review

Double Exposition (Songs and Sonatas Book 1)Jerica MacMillan has out shinned herself with Double Exposition. Definitely, an unique story line of its own accord. I have to start with the cliffhanger ending because its EXPLOSIVE!!! It kept me wanting more of Gabby and Jonathan, which according to Jerica, we most definitely will.  These two characters had flaws, made mistakes and thought us that there is no fighting the power of love.

If readers are looking for a sweet rock star/college read then this book will not disappoint. I enjoyed this story a lot and loved the side characters as much as I did the main characters; especially Lauren. (P.S. Everyone needs a friend like Lauren in their life.) It will be a dreaded wait but I'll be waiting for the next book with open arms.

Double Exposition by Jerica Mac Millian Cover Reveal

Double Exposition
Songs and Sonatas
Book 1
Jerica MacMillan
New Adult Romance
Release Date: Nov. 6th

Blurb:
A former boyband star gets a little musical education from a sexy violinist. Will they stay in different keys or find a way to play in tune?

The first time I saw her I knew I wanted her. And when she talked music with me? I didn't stand a chance.

When she found out my secret past-that I used to be famous pop start-I expected her to fangirl all over me. Because even thought it's been years since people cared about us, a tone of girls who grew up with our music still go nuts when they find out who I am.

Not Gabby. She was more interested in our future than my past.

I tried to stay away at first. She's so young, eighteen to my twenty-two. Just starting out in college while I'm getting ready to leave.

But I couldn't leave her alone. Her passion, her drive, her intoxicating combination of innocence and audacity. And that sexy little Texas twang. Damn. I was sunk from the start.

With her help, I started writing better songs than ever. And when a video of me playing a new song landed on YouTube and went viral, my life exploded in a return to fame I never thought I wanted.

How can I pass up this chance now that it's being offered to me again? But if I take it will Gabby and I be able to survive?

If you like rock star romances and sexy musicians, or you've ever been curious about what happens to a one-hit wonder after the fame fades, don't miss the first installment in this fresh take on a familiar trope.
