V.F. Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn't happen. Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. Book Review: K.R. Ruth "Kain"

K.R. Ruth is a new to me author, so KAIN was the first book that I've read from her, and it will not be my last. This was a story that held my attention from start to finish, I wanted to know what was going to happen next.

I know that it comes off that this book could be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the previous books in the Immortal Mackays. Couples from the previous stories do make appearances and some of their plots are mentioned. Not only that, there were times that I became confused for a bit. It also provides aid in understanding the overall bigger picture.

Mia and Kain were perfect together. They truly grew throughout this story and loved that I was part of the journey. I also enjoyed being able to read from their dual point of view.

I'm excited for what the future will bring for this series and of the author.

Book Review: V.F. Mason "Madman's Method"

First of all, why do I have to wait sooooo long for the conclusion?! 😢😭 

*in the corner, crying to myself*

Yes, I knew going in that it was a duet and I was aware before going in that there would be a cliffhanger. I was not prepared for how much I would crave the second book release. But with my outburst done, let's move to my actual review.

This is some dark and twisted intense beyond mind blowing that I could not get enough of it. If you think that you have it figured out guess again. 

I definitely adore Madman and Cassandra. They are a one of a king and holy they are definitely unique and dangerous and so so beautiful at the same time. Their journey is quite convoluted and, as you know, not done yet, but they just work for me. There is a flow to them, it may be obsessive and twisted, but it's there and I cannot wait to see what it takes from them to get their unique HEA.

This is outstanding theirs no words it's every single thing I love in my Dark Romance. The character development and feelings are so real and written in perfect harmony and I can't wait for the next one. That ending will blow your mind.
