You Deserve Better Release Blitz and Giveaway

You Deserve Better by A.P. Watson
Release Date: April 11th, 2018

Regina Wamba of Mae I Design
Blurb:
As a woman with a past full of heartache, I'd heard the words "you deserve better" more times than I cared to admit. And while I thought Jacks was my definition of better, his betrayal certainly was not. The idea we're all destined to find some great love was a reality I wanted to give up on. I had known true happiness, and it was in the arms of Jackson Carmichael.

I was supposed  to say I didn't miss him, but that would have been the biggest lie I've ever told. He'd been my best friend, the one who had understood me, the one who had known my deepest secrets and admired me in spite of them. That kind of love was hard to erase. I'd tried to move on with someone else, but the memory of what Jacks and I shared always lingered in the back of my mind. When he had asked to reestablish our friendship, I knew better than to agree. But after tragedy stuck, the need for friendship and truth destroyed the walls I'd built around my heart. As the time came for me to choose between the man I always wanted and the safety my heart so desperately craved, I was forced to answer the question I'd been avoiding for months: Are second chances worth the risk?

Cover & Synopsis Reveal by S.L. Scott

From New York Times Bestselling Author, S.L. Scott, comes a hot new rock star romance that will sweep you of your feet and leave you with a smile.

The rumors are true. At least where I'm concerned.

Drummers hit it harder and do it better.

Women love me and I love them. But I like to think of myself as a sensitive soul trapped in a lady-killer's body. Not so surprisingly, I've been called cocky a time or two. What can I say? We can't all be boy scouts.

Nikki Faris has thrown off my rhythm. With her red lips, smart aleck mouth, short skirts, long legs, and blue-shy eyes, the beautiful lead signer has become a complete distraction on this tour.

She loves to give me a hard time when all I want to do is give her the pleasure of my hard―time right back.

Tulsa Crow can save his pick up lines, great eight-pack abs, and cute dimples to use on someone else. My band earned their spot on The Resistance's tour just like The Crow Brothers. I'm not going to blow it getting sidetracked by a cocky rock star that wants to sleep his way through the states. I've been called a name or two, but easy isn't one of them.

But the best intentions with him turn into a walk of shame for me. Only, I don't feel shame. Instead, I'm doing the very thing I said I wouldn't―falling for a playboy.

We make sinful music when we're on the road, but what happens to our melody when the tour ends?

Don't forget to add Tulsa to you TBR today at Goodreads.

Cheeky Royal by Nana Malone Book Review

Cheeky Royal is part one in a two-part duet book. Nana Malone is a new-to-me author.

Cheeky Royal is a fun, entertaining, and cheesy read that you can relax to.

I had to invest my time on Cheeky Royal. Honestly, after chapter one, I was done with it. However, I decided to stick it out and I am happy I DID.

Once the relationship was establish by our main protagonists, Penny and Sebastian, things began to move forward. The plot was predictable; there were no real surprises to the story line. I would have loved to see more of character development.

However, as I stated if you are looking for an easy, fun, and mindless read that you can relax to...it would be this book.

Book Review of What He Always Knew by Kandi Steiner

What He Always Knew is the second book to What He Doesn't Know. I am completely and utterly wowed by this duet. It's a rare occasion where both books guts you in the heart and soul, and you keep on wanting more. This is by far one of the BEST love triangle books. This is the best work I read since Molly McAdams, Taking Chances.

No one said love would be easy. If love were easy, then everyone would be in love.

What He Always Knew is a story about choices. Yes, we have the love story, but it's so much more than that. It's about understanding once need and desire, and ultimately making a choice.

"My heart was forever severed, destined to exist in two equal halves—one with each man. But one half beat stronger, one half had the vein that ran deepest, and one half held my choice in silence well before I ever admitted it out loud.

The other half would always be a part of me, but in a softer way—a more subdued beating, a quieter presence, a different kind of life support.

A different kind of love."

I can guarantee you that you haven't read a love triangle story like this one. You will be on this roller-coaster ride of emotion until the bittersweet. At times, you won't know who you are rooting for anymore. The lines begin to blur. It's complex, raw, full of angst, and it will leave you shattered for days. It will make you FEEL EVERYTHING!

THIS IS HOW YOU DO LOVE TRIANGLE!!

Welcome to the famed resort, The Hathaway at Dragonfly Beach, where newlyweds come to honeymoon, where anniversary couples celebrate milestones, and where broken hearts find a place to heal.

After her best friend is jilted at the altar, maid of honor Lilly Durand whisks the bride to Dragonfly Beach and its legendary hotel, determined to help her overcome her misery. Lilly won't admit it, but she's hurting too. During the few days of pre-wedding festivities, a powerful attraction had grown between her and the handsome and confident best man, Alec Thatcher. Now she'll never see him again, but she's decided to consider that a good thing. This way her inconvenient crush can't turn into something so dangerous as love. But then, to her dismay, she discovers Alec is just a room key away at what some call the Heartbreak Hotel.

Alec Thatcher doesn't have time or inclination for long-term romance. Serial dating has suited his confirmed-bachelor status just fine―until he meets Lilly Durand and his world turns on its axis. She claims to be as relationship-averse as he, but when the two of them are together he can't recall his own reasons against commitment. Though Lilly touches his heart and soul, she's as cautious as she is sexy. With a stubborn streak a mile long, Alec will have to exert all his powers of persuasion to give Lilly her last first kiss...

Book Review of What He Doesn't Know by Kandi Steiner

WTF!!! (Pardon my French.)

I finished reading WHDK two days ago...however it also took two days for these simple words come together to create this review.

Two days ago my life came to a crippling halt. WHDK completely wrecked me!!

Kindergarten teacher Charlie is miserable in her marriage, and has been for quite some time. The avalanche of past event taking its effect on the once young and hopeful newlyweds...even 5 years afterwards. But definitely relatable. Then walks in Reece back into her life in the last place she ever imagined seeing her best friends brother, the boy her teenage self once loved. Back again to their home town Reece is now teaching music at the same school. As they rekindle a tentative friendship, Charlie begins to live the youthfulness she once carried. Rekindling the once love that was prohibited.

Faced with the threads holding together the marriage is unraveled, Charlie and Cameron's marriage snaps. And Reece is there to comfort a very tired and liberated Charlie.

With one simple word the trajectory of this story was changed forever..."Okay."

Followed by the most unexpected twist of all time. They say there is three sides to the story, this one began long ago when a young girl fell in love with her brother best friend. But happily ever after is never easy when faced with the turbulence of the past knocking at your door.

This book is extremely GOOD!! Move over world 'cause here comes Kandi Steiner to kick butt!!

"They say there are two sides to every story.
But this one, there are three."
