Book Review: "Bitter Rivals" by J. Sterling

Bitter Rival takes a modern twist from a classic play, Romeo & Juliet. Shakespeare watch out there is a new romance author in town and her name is J. Sterling!

"Why was I attracted to the one man I wasn't allowed to be with? Life wasn't fair."

An enemy to lover's romance, J. Sterling has outdone herself once again.

James Russo and Julia LaBella's families have been enemies since before they were born. Having wine vineyards that are next door too each other continue to keep the feud alive. However, the feud doesn't stop the connection that form between Julia and James. Now James is done hiding his feelings for the girl next door and willing to fight for it all.

Julia must decide to follow her heart or follow the rules. Lines will be crossed and families forever changed.

Bitter Rival is filled with charming characters and an amazing storyline. Definitely a cute and fun story that is fast paced and filled with some banter with a little drama on the side. Their best friends were good supporting cast. In the end, I was left wanting more, more bickering, more angst, and more intimate scenes.

Looking for a light and fast read? You got it with J. Sterling's latest book.
